What happens when physical products start to think, interact, and communicate?
That’s the central question behind a new initiative I’m excited to share with you: the launch of the Smart Tangibles LinkedIn group - a budding community of thinkers, builders, and strategists exploring the convergence of hardware, software, and services in connected products.
Smart Tangibles LinkedIn Group - Why?
The term Smart Tangibles refers to a fast-evolving category of products that live at the intersection of:
Intelligent hardware
Embedded and cloud-connected software
User interaction and experience
Business models rooted in value creation beyond the physical form
We’re talking about the products that blur the line between the digital and physical: from smart kitchen appliances to medical devices, sensor-driven tools, wearables, industrial machines, and beyond.
The group is designed as a collaborative space to:
Exchange insights and practical knowledge
Discuss challenges across disciplines: design, engineering, business, and strategy
Share and collect case studies (more on that below)
Contribute to the broader narrative around what makes a smart product successful
A Community with a Purpose
This group is not just a discussion forum — it also supports the development of my upcoming book, Smart Tangibles, set to publish in 2026.
📖 The book explores how connected hardware products can create lasting impact — not just through functionality, but through integrated ecosystems and human-centered thinking.

And if you’re working on (or have worked on) a relevant product, I’d love to hear from you. I’m actively gathering real-world case studies:

If you’re curious about where smart products are headed — whether you’re building them, advising on them, investing in them, or trying to figure out how to make them better — I warmly invite you to join the LinkedIn group:
Let’s define this space together. Let’s talk about what works, what doesn’t, and what’s next.
See you there,
